When is Amazon Prime Day 2025?
Amazon Prime Day 2025 will run from Tuesday 8th July until Friday 11th July. For the first time in its ten-year history, Prime Day will run for four days, giving Prime members double the time to shop hundreds of thousands of deals. You can expect savings across all categories, and we're predicting major discounts across top brands like De' Longhi, Dyson, Shark, CeraVe, and Ninja.
Easily the biggest Amazon sale of them all, Prime Day is a global shopping event with deals on all categories of products, including fashion, beauty, home and health. It’s exclusively for Amazon Prime members, but you can sign up for a 30-day free trial (and cancel later) to take advantage of the deals without getting locked into long-term Prime membership.
Amazon Prime Day 2025: what to expect
This year, Amazon is introducing a new element to Prime Day. Today’s Big Deals will be curated exclusively for Prime members around a daily theme, and feature limited-time ‘New Deal Drop’ deals launching at midnight every day throughout the shopping event. In other words, you'll need to be fast to snap up some of this year's biggest and best Prime Day deals.
Prime Day is exclusively for Amazon shoppers who have Prime membership so if that's not you but you don't want to miss out, it's essential that you either become a Prime member or start a free trial at amazon.co.uk/primeday to take part.
You'll get fast, free delivery along with all the other money-saving benefits Prime has to offer. If there's a young adult in your life aged 18-22, they can become a Prime member and enjoy all the benefits for half the price at £4.49 per month or £47.49 a year. Great news if you have students heading off to University this September, as it includes exclusive discounts on thousands of textbooks, clothing, travel, accessories and more.
Is Prime Day really worth it?
Sales events get a lot of hype, so it can be hard to cut through all the noise and tell whether they're actually worth your time and attention. If you’re wondering whether Amazon Prime Day is worth the fuss, it's a big yes from me - especially if you’re into home, health, beauty, and fashion. Good news if you like the sound of bargains across the board, from skincare and wellness to stylish clothes and home bits - our expert team of shopping journalists and editors will be here curating all the best deals live throughout the four-day event. And, unlike elsewhere, woman&home will be bringing you only true deals on products we know and love - we won't recommend you buy it unless we know, first-hand, that it's a brilliant product at a great price.

As a consumer editor and lifestyle journalist with almost 20 years of experience writing for the national press, I've been covering Amazon Prime Day shopping events since they started a decade ago, and I've bagged some of my biggest ever bargains on these days. From a cut-price games console that made my kids' Christmas, and huge discounts on daily household essentials like pet food, dishwasher tablets and toilet roll (yes, really...) to juicy savings on Amazon devices like Kindle e-readers, and some of my favourite beauty brands (Elemis and Kiehl's, I'm looking at you...), Prime Day is an event I never miss. Genuinely.
Originally launched as a one-day shopping event to celebrate Amazon's 20th anniversary, Prime Day became an annual event, which then became a two-day sale, until this year's epic four-day shopping extravaganza.
One thing from this year's upcoming Amazon Prime Day event we’re really excited about? Amazon’s own devices. If you’ve been thinking about a new Kindle or an Echo, Prime Day always has some cracking deals - and we're especially keen to see what the Kindle offers look like this year. (I'm due an upgrade and the Kindle Colorsoft has caught my eye...)
So, if you fancy a little treat or want to grab some truly great bargains, Prime Day is definitely worth a look.
What are the biggest sale days on Amazon?
Amazon has several sales throughout the year, but the biggest sale by far is Amazon Prime Day. The retail giant also holds a pre-festive-season discount event in late November, to coincide with Black Friday.
How do you know if the Amazon sale offers good deals?
It's not easy to spot a true deal on Prime Day, as Amazon prices fluctuate throughout the year. This means a hefty percentage discount might not be as exciting as it first looks. But that's why we're here - the entire woman&home editorial team will be working around the clock during all four days of this year's Amazon Prime Day event, hunting for bargains on our favourite tried-and-tested products and bringing you the best deals across homes, health, fashion and beauty.
There are also lots of ways to decipher a good deal on Amazon, including price tracker websites like camelcamelcamel, which monitor millions of Amazon products. Founded by tech entrepreneur Daniel Green in 2008, it was voted the most popular price-tracking tool among Lifehacker in 2015.
When is Amazon Black Friday 2025?
After Prime Day, the Amazon Black Friday sale is the next big shopping event that's worth marking your diary for. It's set to take place on Friday 28 November this year, which is the day after Thanksgiving in the USA, although early deals tend to drop as much as a week ahead of the main event.
Amazon, like lots of retailers, pulls out all the stops for Black Friday so if you’re in the market for a big-ticket item and can wait until November to buy it, it's a good opportunity to make some big savings. It’s also a great time to tick some items off your Christmas shopping list. That said, the beauty of Amazon Prime Day is that it doesn't leave a dent in your budget close to Christmas.
When is Amazon Cyber Monday 2025?
This year, Cyber Monday will fall on Monday 1st December. Again, this is a sale that most major retailers take part in rather than something exclusive to Amazon but Amazon typically drops extra discounts, particularly on tech and electronics, on this day to mark the official end of Black Friday weekend.
